Camera troubles

My camera is officially out of order.:( The lens is stuck and it makes a scary noise when I try to turn it on. Cooper just runs the other direction. Now my camera won't even turn on. So Oz and I was discussing that for my birthday (which is in October) I could get a new camera. I was explaining to him how that is a long time not to be able to capture precious moments of our family plus Campbell will be having a birthday this month and I can't not take pics of his birthday party, basically I laid it on pretty thick. So anyways we have agreed (thank-you babe) that I can get an early birthday present. So this week I will be on the hunt for a new camera. Does anyone have any suggestions as to a digital camera they would recommend?

Hey, Heidi! Ask Danna what kind of camera she has. I was just telling her that my sister has the same one and loves it. It may come across as too much camera, but it does a great job. Danna said she needs to learn more how to use all of the stuff on it, so maybe you could learn together! Unless you're a camera pro and you could just teach her :) Sorry I don't remember the brand.

Bummer about your camera...go to Borders check out some Scrap Book Magazines and see what cameras they are using...I need a new one...thats what I'm gonna do when the time comes.....simple...big screen and fast click =)!!! I also thought about going to Wolfe Camera to buy....I think they are better informed than....lets say Best Buy where I bought my last camera and deeply disappointed! My fault I did not do my homeowrk...have to say I had to turn to my old stand by...my Olympus is about 8 years old and has buttons missing...but it still takes pics! Love ya...Marti =)
